We collect the following categories of information: Account Information • Full name, email address, password (hashed), profile picture, nationality, and role (Founder or Investor) when you register. • Google OAuth profile data if you sign up via Google. Profile & Pitch Data (Founders) • Business name, tagline, sector, funding stage, funding goal, equity percentage, team size, location, founded year, website URL. • Uploaded documents: pitch decks, financial models, pitch videos, promo videos. • Referral code if applicable. Profile Data (Investors) • Firm name, investment thesis, portfolio details, AUM, LinkedIn URL, verification documents submitted for KYC review. Usage & Engagement Data • Pitch views, likes, saves, shares, comments, and messages sent. • Points balance, points transactions, and payment records. • Login timestamps, device type, IP address, and browser information. Payment Data • Payment transactions processed via Flutterwave. We do not store full card numbers or bank account details — these are handled by Flutterwave under their own privacy and security standards. Communications • Messages sent between users through the Platform's messaging system. • Emails you send to our support or legal team.

We use your information to: • Create and manage your account; • Operate the Platform including displaying pitches, enabling document access, and facilitating messaging; • Verify Investor identities before granting access to deal documentation; • Process points purchases and issue receipts; • Send transactional emails (verification, pitch approval/rejection, payment confirmations, engagement notifications); • Enforce our Terms and Conditions including our off-platform dealing provisions and fee obligations; • Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats; • Improve the Platform and analyse usage patterns; • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Founders who upload documents to DealWavv (pitch decks, financial models, videos, and similar materials) should be aware of the following: • Uploaded documents are stored securely on our servers and are accessible to verified Investors who unlock them using Platform points. • DealWavv does not share founder documents outside the Platform except where required by law. • Founders control what they upload. Do not upload documents containing information you are not legally permitted to share. • If a Founder's pitch is rejected or their account is closed, uploaded documents will be removed from public visibility, though we may retain a copy for legal and compliance purposes for up to 12 months. By uploading documents, Founders consent to this visibility as described in our Terms and Conditions.

We share your data only where necessary: Service Providers • Flutterwave: payment processing for points purchases. • Zoho / SMTP providers: transactional email delivery. • Cloud hosting and storage providers: secure data storage and platform infrastructure. • Analytics providers: anonymised usage data only. Legal Requirements • We may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulators, or courts where required by applicable law or to protect DealWavv's legal rights. Business Transfers • In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of DealWavv's business, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users before any such transfer. We do not share your personal data with investors or founders outside of what is explicitly visible through normal Platform operation.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account: • Your public profile and pitches are removed within 30 days. • Messages and engagement data may be retained for up to 12 months for dispute resolution purposes. • Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations. • Legal correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to resolve any outstanding matters. You may request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@dealwavv.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

We implement industry-standard security measures including: • Encrypted data storage and transmission (TLS/HTTPS); • Hashed passwords (we do not store plaintext passwords); • Access controls limiting employee access to personal data; • Regular security reviews. Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. DealWavv uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated session. These are HTTP-only, secure cookies set on login and cleared on logout. We may also use basic analytics cookies to understand Platform usage. These do not contain personally identifiable information. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. • Correction: request correction of inaccurate data. • Deletion: request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations). • Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format. • Objection: object to certain uses of your data. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
